The Estuary Country Hotel

Located just north of Port Edward on The Kwa Zulu Natal South Coast, The Estuary Country Hotel overlooks and is a few minute’s walk from the magnificent Silver Beach. This grand Cape Dutch style property was originally built in 1941 for a family of means and has been aesthetically transformed into a beautiful private Hotel, Restaurant and Conference Centre.

All the luxurious hotel bedrooms are en suite, air conditioned and with private balconies with either Sea or Lagoon Views.  All rooms have TVs.  Do you really need TV when you are able to listen to the calls of the resident Fish Eagles instead.

Conferences

The Estuary Country Hotel offers most comfortable and tranquil facilities for all forms of conferences.  Various venues comfortably seat from 15 to 150 delegates.  On site business facilities include internet, email and fax facilities, photocopying, secretarial services, a safe keeping service as well as wake up calls.

There is an on-site conference co-ordinator who will, if needed, plan and co-ordinate your conference needs.

Romantic Weddings

No matter what your interests, there is just so much to do in the nearby area.

One can just go on the beach in front of the hotel where local fishermen launch their boats each day.  There you can sunbathe in safety. For the more active there is the 3247Ha Umtamvuna Nature Reserve for hiking and bird watching.  There is Oribi Gorge for nature reserves and adrenaline type activities. Often called the ‘Golfers Jewel’ the hotel is close to 7 top golf courses including theWildCoastSun and San Lameer.
